Queensland reports two locally acquired cases on Wednesday
Queensland recorded three new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, with two of those acquired through local transmission.
The escalating outbreak has cast doubt over greater Brisbane’s three-day lockdown which could be extended past the Thursday deadline.

Annastacia Palaszczuk and the state’s health authorities are due to decide on a possible extension of the lockdown on Wednesday evening but previously warned a further escalation of cases could see this strict directive pushed back.
