Man linked to Brisbane’s COVID-19 lockdown visited regional areas while infectious

The regional Queensland city of Gladstone is on alert after it was revealed a man visited the region while infected between March 25-28.
Key points:
- The mayor of Gladstone is urging residents and travellers to double check the list of exposure sites after Queensland’s latest COVID-19 outbreak
- The infected person was also in Gin Gin and Miriam Vale
- Regional residents who have returned from Greater Brisbane must observe metropolitan lockdown protocols
The state recorded 10 new cases of coronavirus on Monday morning, plunging the Greater Brisbane area into a snap, three-day lockdown.
Health authorities have asked Queenslanders outside Brisbane to wear a mask if they cannot socially distance, though they will not be fined if they do not.
