Perth mother found not guilty of bludgeoning Kym Taylor to death
A Perth mother has walked free from WA’s Supreme Court after a jury took just two hours to find her not guilty of bludgeoning a woman to death and burying her body in bushland while her three young children waited in the car.

- Stacey Wright was accused of murdering Kym Taylor in 2018
- Her father was accused of helping her to cover up the crime
- Both defendants were acquitted after a second trial
It was the second time Stacey Lea Wright, 30, stood trial accused of the murder of 37-year-old Kym Taylor, whose body was found in bushland at Bedfordale in Perth’s southern outskirts in November 2018.
Ms Wright’s father was also on trial accused of helping her to cover up the alleged crime.
