Grace Tame on life as a figurehead of change and champion of sexual assault survivors

She might wake to an inbox filled with hundreds of emails every day, but Grace Tame’s morning always starts with a run.
Key points:
- Krystina ‘Mousey’ Jacobs “loves to fight”
- Tasmania’s first female professional will fight for a WIBA World Title in Hobart, next week.
- Her rise is inspiring a new wave of Tasmanian female boxers
“I religiously run every morning and that’s something I do for my mental health and I don’t compromise on that; self care is a huge part of my day,” Ms Tame said.
It has been a whirlwind two months for the Tasmanian child sexual abuse survivor, after being announced Australian of the Year for 2021.
