NSW government MP Michael Johnsen identifies himself as politician at centre of Blue Mountains rape allegation

NSW Nationals MP Michael Johnsen has identified himself as the man accused of sexually assaulting a female sex worker in the Blue Mountains last year.

Mr Johnsen issued the statement after receiving questions from the ABC about a number of allegations of misconduct towards the woman.

The questions were sent following an explosive speech in NSW Parliament by Labor MP Trish Doyle.
