Labor MP alleges NSW government MP raped sex worker in Blue Mountains 18 months ago

Police have confirmed there is an ongoing investigation into allegations a NSW government MP raped a sex worker 18 months ago.

Labor’s Shadow Minister for Women Trish Doyle used parliamentary privilege to make the allegation.

She did not reveal the name of the Lower House government MP.

Ms Doyle told Parliament the woman had agreed to a specific sex act but the man “assaulted her in a way she had not consented to” when they met at a secluded lookout at Yellow Rock.
