Half of big four banks now offer two-year fixed home loan rate below 2 per cent, pressure on CBA, ANZ to follow

Australias third biggest bank has joined Westpac in cutting its two-year fixed home loan rate to below 2 per cent, putting pressure on Commonwealth Bank and ANZ to do the same.National Australia Bank reduced the rate to 1.89 per cent on Thursday, down from 2.04 per cent.
It’s the second time NAB has cut fixed rates in recent weeks, dropping its two-year interest charge by 0.05 per cent last month.
