Qld mum accused of murdering adult kids Erin and Jonathan
A Gold Coast mum accused of murdering her two children to claim insurance payouts allegedly controlled her son’s finances and refused to let him get a job, a court has been told.
Maree Mavis Crabtree repeatedly smirked, rolled her eyes and shook her head as witnesses aired allegations of controlling behaviour over her son Jonathan on the first day of her committal hearing, which is held to determine if there is enough evidence for the case to proceed to trial.
