Victorian Liberals vote to stick with Michael O’Brien after failed leadership spill

A motion to challenge the leadership of Victorian Opposition leader Michael O’Brien has failed with only nine MPs voting in favour of a spill.

Brad Battin, the Opposition spokesman for roads and MP for Gembrook had planned to challenge for the leadership, calling for a vote in the party room to declare the leader’s position vacant.
