Six dead as Myanmar security forces open fire on protesters; Beijing outraged by factory attacks

Myanmar security forces have fired on pro-democracy demonstrators, killing six people, a day after dozens of protesters were shot dead and Chinese-financed factories were burnt down.

Supporters of detained democratic leader Aung San Suu Kyi marched again on Monday, including in the city of Mandalay.

Local media reported that police opened fire in the central town of Aunglan, seriously injuring young residents.
