Melbourne weather: Thick fog blankets city, causing dangerous driving conditions
Thick fog has blanketed Melbourne for the second morning in a row as the temperature again dropped below zero in the outer suburbs.The weather bureau has issued a road weather alert and warned reduced visibility in fog would make road conditions dangerous across metropolitan Melbourne on Friday morning.
A warning for severe frosts with the potential to cause significant crop damage was also issued for the Mallee in the state’s northwest, with temperatures plummeting to -3C.
