Aussie basketball star Mitch Creek stood down over alleged assault

Former NBA player turned NBL star Mitch Creek has been stood down from his club commitments after he was charged with the alleged assault of a woman in Melbourne last November.Creek, 28 played five NBA games in the 2018-19 season with the Brooklyn Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves after working his way through the G-League before returning to Australia where he is the co-captain of the South Melbourne Phoenix.
