Nationals weigh coalition to form opposition in WA after Liberals wiped out

WA Nationals leader Mia Davies says she is considering a coalition partnership with the Liberals after Labor’s landslide victory decimated the state opposition.

With counting yet to be finalised on Sunday, the McGowan government looked likely to hold at least 52 of the Legislative Assembly’s 59 seats.

The Liberals were on track to win three, while the Nationals were predicted to keep four.
