Apple has cut orders for iPhones by 20 percent, according to Nikkei Asia, due to lower-than-expected demand for its small iPhone 12 mini.
However Apples latest iPhones are still in high demand.
The company plans to build 230 million iPhones in 2021, up 11.6 percent from 2020, but consumers are preferring the iPhone 11 to the iPhone 12 mini.
Apple analysts believe this is because the older iPhone 11 has a bigger screen more akin to the larger iPhone 12 and premium iPhone 12 Pro models.
