Severe storms predicted for much of eastern Australia

Much of eastern Australia has been warned to brace for heavy rain and severe thunderstorms as meteorologists say supercells could develop over NSW.
Storms are being predicted over large parts of southern Queensland, throughout NSW and possibly into northern Victoria amid an “ideal environment” for showers and storms.
Damaging winds, heavy rainfall and hail are predicted to hit the regions, with inland NSW set to encounter the worst of the weather.
