Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk slammed following latest review into Mason Jet Lee’s death
The Palaszczuk government was scolded by the opposition after a report found child safety officers who failed to protect a 22-month-old toddler from a horrific death were inadequately punished.
The review from the Public Service Commission released on Friday said some staff should have been sacked for not protecting Mason Jet Lee in the months leading up to his violent death in 2016 at the hands of his stepfather.
But the child safety officers will avoid further punishment because they cannot be disciplined for the same conduct…
