Three Myanmar protesters killed on International Women’s Day, shops and factories closed

Three demonstrators have been killed in Myanmar, two of them shot to death as protests against the military coup continued throughout the nation.

Two of the victims died after being shot in the northern town of Myitkyina, witnesses said.
Photos posted on Facebook showed the bodies of two men lying on the street after being fired upon by shotguns.
