storms, humidity and up to 40mm of rain this week

Southeast Queensland is in for more wet weather this week, with up to 40mm expected in some parts as humid conditions return to the region.
Thunderstorms could lash the area as early as Monday afternoon.
Bureau of Meteorology forecaster James Thompson said Ipswich and Gympie and those places further west would be in the firing line.
“Tomorrow and Wednesday the chance of a storm making it all the way to the coast is a bit more likely,” he said.
