Golf needed a boost in the wake of superstar Tiger Woods suffering a horrifying car crash. On Sunday, Bryson DeChambeau delivered.
His ridiculous drive across the lake at the par-5 sixth hole at Bay Hill a good 340 yards over the water, plus an extra 30 for good measure was the kind of shot the golf world had been waiting for since the American began transforming his game.
Last year, 27-year-old DeChambeau bulked up and began battering the ball faster and farther than professional golf had witnessed outside of long-drive contests.
