Woman’s brave stand to stop crime

A teenage boy is facing multiple charges over a failed carjacking after a female bystander came to the aid of a distressed middle-aged woman who was being assaulted outside a medical centre in north Queensland.
The horrifying incident occurred in broad daylight in the carpark of a Ross River Road medical centre in Townsville on Thursday afternoon.
The 16-year-old boy is alleged to have approached the 55-year-old woman as she returned to her parked vehicle.
