Brisbane nightclubs fined for allowing dancing. Warning others could be shut down
Nightclubs flouting bans on dancing have been warned they will be shut down after two Brisbane venues were fined for allowing patrons to take to the floor.
Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Yvette D’Ath said while most venues were doing the right thing, some rogue operators were flouting the rules.
This followed images and video of people dancing at Fortitude Valley clubs on the weekend of July 3 and 4.
