Doctors have shown that coronavirus can be transmitted during the last weeks of pregnancy.A team of French doctors have reported what they say is the first proven case of the virus being passed from a mother to her unborn baby.
A baby boy contracted the virus from his 23-year-old mother who was admitted to hospital on March 24.
She had a fever and severe cough after contracting COVID-19 late in her third trimester.
