Tea sold at Aldi recalled after contamination with chemical

A lemon and ginger tea brand sold at Aldi has been recalled due to contamination with a chemical which may cause injury or illness.A product recall was issued on Friday for ‘Diplomat Lemon and Ginger Herbal Infusion 60g (40 bags)’ due to them being contaminated with ethylene oxide.
The recalled boxes have ‘best before’ dates from 08/02/23 to 11/02/23.
They were sold at Aldi stores between February 8 and February 22, in NSW, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, and the ACT.
