Qantas boss Alan Joyce says the national carrier will survive while COVID bankrupts other airlines
Qantas boss Alan Joyce insists the national carrier will survive while other airlines are driven bankrupt by the COVID-19 pandemic despite the company booking an eye-watering net loss.The company posted a half-year net loss of $1.03bn on Thursday and scrapped its interim dividend but managed to whittle a near $7bn revenue hit to a much lower bottom line result, Mr Joyce said.
