Gold Coast police probe bus assault
Months after a Gold Coast bus driver was assaulted, police have released photos of a man they wish to speak to.
About 8.40am on Sunday, January 31, police say a bus was parked at the Broadbeach South light rail station when the driver spoke to a male passenger about eating on board.
It’s alleged the man then punched the 58-year-old driver in the face, which caused swelling and bruising to his eye, bleeding to his nose, and a small laceration.
The images, captured on board the bus, show the man holding a half-eaten banana.
