New $200 travel voucher scheme to boost Melbourne tourism
Melbourne tourism businesses and attractions have been handed a lifeline in the form of a new travel voucher scheme after successive lockdowns crippled the industry.Victorians will now be able to apply for a $200 vouchers to travel to the city, on top of the vouchers already released to help regional tourism.
The state government has tipped a further $10m into the scheme with 40,000 vouchers worth $200 to be offered up for travel and attractions in greater Melbourne.
