Hes regarded as one the greatest batsmen in the modern era, but Steve Smith may not even get a game in this years Indian Premier League.Smith copped a $2.1 million pay cut at Thursday’s IPL auction, with the Delhi Capitals securing the batsman for just AU$389,000.
Although the six-figure sum would be cause for celebration for most cricketers, it was considerably lower than the AU$2.5 million he received from the Rajasthan Royals last year.
