Woman charged after Manoora stabbing
A woman has been charged with murder after the death of a man in Cairns on Saturday night.
Police were called to a unit complex on Marchant Street in the suburb of Manoora at 11.50pm after reports a man had been wounded with a knife.
A 25-year-old Cairns man was found dead at the scene after sustaining a serious neck injury.
A 21-year-old Mareeba woman was found nearby and taken into police custody.
She has since been charged with one count of murder and is due to appear in Cairns Magistrates Court on Monday.
