A New South Wales Supreme Court jury has found Matthew Spinks guilty of the drive-by shooting murder of Nathan Costello in Wollongong on Valentine’s Day in 2018.
Key points:

- Spinks will be sentenced in May
The jury of seven women and five men took four days to reach its 11-1 majority verdict.
Mr Costello was standing behind his car on the verge outside a house in Unanderra when Spinks drove past in a stolen SUV and fired a shotgun at him.
The cartridges shattered the car’s back window, with the pellets from one round leaving more than 90 holes in Mr Costello’s face, neck, chest and shoulder.
