Optus network restored after customers affected by outage nationwide

An outage that left thousands of Optus customers unable to use their phones and ANZ customers unable to complete payments has been restored. On Thursday morning, thousands were unable to withdraw cash from ANZ machines, as furious customers took to Twitter demanding to know how long the issues would last.
“.@ANZ_AU Honestly, your trading platform is hands down _the worst_ I have ever come across,” user Cameron Smith said.
