Melbourne’s The Hardware Societe closes its doors after snap five-day lockdown

After 12 years of operation, a popular Melbourne cafe has been forced to close its doors indefinitely after copping a massive blow in sales.Despite the city ending its five-day snap lockdown, co-owner of The Hardware Societe, Di Keser, said it was the “last straw” and has made the difficult decision to close its Hardware St cafe.
“No one wants to make decisions like that, but it’s about preserving cash for the long haul; you have to make those decisions based on a business sense,” Ms Keser told…
