Event Cinemas launches at-home platform amid industry green shoots
Probably the last thing you expect a cinema chain to do is give you something to watch at home, but thats what Event Cinemas is doing.Event, which takes in about 30 per cent of Australia’s cinematic box office, is launching a video-on-demand platform in which customers can rent movies to watch in their loungeroom.
