Nick Kyrgios might have farewelled Melbourne Park after being eliminated from the singles and doubles but he’s still a hot topic at the Australian Open.
A former tennis writer has dusted off his typewriter and created a stir online after attending Nick Kyrgios’ match against Dominic Thiem.
Alan Atwood, who covered the sport for Facebook, attended Kyrgios’ third round match at John Cain Arena with his wife but left early because of what he described as an “ugly and embarrasing crowd”.
