As much as the Sydney Kings are ingrained in Brian Goorjians veins after winning three championships titles, something didnt feel right about saying yes when they came calling two years ago. Goorjian was top of the Kings’ coaching list in 2019 when the club parted ways with Andrew Gaze after four seasons.
The NBL’s most successful coach was working in China at the time when Sydney called.
