Bubble O’Bill, Paddle Pop ice-cream tubs now available at IGA – NEWS.com.au

It may be a bit nippy out there, but who can resist tucking into a tub of Bubble OBill ice cream?That’s right, Streets has just released the classic treat in tub form for fans to enjoy.
While they have kept it on the down-low with no official announcement yet, Ritchies Merbein IGA in Victoria shared a post alerting fans to the exciting news.
“You saw it here first,” the grocer posted on Facebook alongside a snap of a shelf full of the new item.
The 1-litre tubs are already being delivered to independent supermarkets across the country and can also be found in Woolworths and Coles stores by mid-August.
It didn’t take long for the news to cause a frenzy among ice cream lovers nationwide.

“My oh my! I have always said they needed Bubble O’Bill in a multi-pack. A tub will do just nicely,” one fan wrote.
“OMG Bubble O’Bill in a tub! Remember I used to carefully eat the chocolate coating to reveal a second face! I wonder where they put the nose?” another said.
“Oh wow, we need another road trip to stock up on nostalgic food at IGA,” a third person wrote, tagging her friend.
The new tubs were snapped alongside another classic – Paddle Pop Rainbow – also in tub form.
“My whole family in a frenzy over rainbow paddle pop tubs. Mmmm,” one fan shared.
“Don’t mess with the originals. Still the best childhood memories ever!”
As fans bombarded the post with more than 14,000 comments and 7500 shares, asking where else they can get their hands on the tub, other independent grocers also shared a snap of the stock.
Donge’s Supa IGA and Ashcroft’s IGA Erskine Park both shared their own photos of the soon-to-be hit flavours, creating hysteria among followers.
One fan summed up the exciting news. “BUBBLE O’BILL?! Shut up and take my money.”

In addition to the Paddle Pop and Bubble O’Bill tubs, the supermarkets are also stocking Golden Gaytime tubs.
“We’ve been trying to keep it a secret, but the rumours are true. These are the top requests we receive from Streets’ fans, and we couldn’t be happier to deliver what they want,” Samantha Jarmul, Streets brand manager told news.com.au
“We know Aussies love to enjoy their favourite ice cream sticks, but now they are scoopable. “This is also the first time ever you can buy Bubble O’Bill in the grocery aisle.”
The tubs are available in IGA stores across the country from today, Woolworths stores from the end of July and Coles in mid-August.
