Wilson Wairutu Njau jailed for Qld road rage stabbing
A Queensland man has been jailed for the violent and potentially life-threatening road rage stabbing of an 18-year-old in broad daylight.
Dramatic footage of Wilson Wairutu Njau’s vicious confrontation outside a busy Brisbane shopping centre was played to the court, showing the young man fleeing through traffic after leaving the victim bleeding on the road.
Without emergency surgery, the victim’s injuries would have been fatal.
Njau, 24, was initially charged with attempted murder but prosecutors discontinued the charge.
