Murgon baby death: Mother, 21, charged
A young Queensland mother will front court, charged over the death of her seven-month-old baby girl.
Police launched an investigation earlier in the week into the death of the little girl in a rural Queensland town.
Emergency crews were called to a home in Murgon on February 5 where a resident at the property had performed CPR on the infant.
The girl was taken to the local hospital by ambulance where she died a short time later.
Queensland Police confirmed the girl’s 21-year-old mother has been charged with manslaughter.
