Terror boss to head crisis after Leadbetter death

The Queensland Premier has responded to community outrage and enlisted the state’s anti-terror boss to clamp down on a supposed youth crime crisis gripping the Sunshine State.
Repeat youth offenders will be slapped with GPS tracking devices and bail conditions will be tightened in new laws revealed by Annastacia Palaszczuk on Tuesday.
The death of a pregnant couple in Brisbane on Australia Day allegedly at the hands of a teenager in a stolen car thrust youth crime concerns back into the spotlight.
