Bus driver hit in face in chemical attack
A Queensland bus driver has been hospitalised after having chemicals thrown in his face.
The man was in his vehicle on Drews Rd at Loganholme, south of Brisbane, on Monday morning when the alleged assault occurred.
It’s understood someone threw a chemical irritant on his face through the window of the bus about 9.30am.
No one was on board at the time.
The driver suffered immediate pain as a result of the chemical irritant.
He was taken to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
