Cobar mayor Lilliane Brady, NSW’s longest-serving female mayor, dies aged 90
The longest serving female mayor in New South Wales, Lilliane Brady, has died at the age of 90.

Ms Brady was mayor of the outback mining town of Cobar in the state’s central west for almost 23 years, and a local councillor for almost 38 years.
Her family confirmed she passed away in the local hospital overnight after a period of ill health.
Ms Brady had told ABC’s Back Roads she was planning to retire in September.
