Police fear those trying to breach borders could bring second wave

Police have warned those attempting illegal entry into Queensland could spark a second wave of coronavirus, as the state’s first line of defence comes under attack.

Since the Queensland border reopened at midday on Friday, July 10, 17,000 vehicles made their way into Queensland and another 850 were turned around, Queensland Police have revealed.
