Fraser Island dingo attack: Child bitten

A child has been injured in a dingo attack on Fraser Island in Queensland.
The “primary-aged” boy was attacked near Orchid Beach on Thursday morning, a Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said.
The call came around 9.30am, but around midday, paramedics still hadn’t arrived.
“We have a station on the island, but he’s in an isolated spot, so it takes time to get there,” the spokesman said.
However, the injuries were not believed to be serious.
The boy suffered four minor puncture wounds, ambos said in a tweet.
More to come.
