Health screening introduced at Sydney Airport for passengers arriving from Melbourne after coronavirus case
NSW has introduced health screening measures at Sydney Airport for inbound flights from Melbourne following a new COVID-19 case linked to hotel quarantine in Melbourne.
Flights from Melbourne have been held on the tarmac while health screening is conducted inside the airport.
NSW Health said disembarking passengers will be screened at the gate, with temperature checks part of the precautionary measures taken.
Passengers will also be asked if they have been to any venues flagged by Victorian health authorities and must complete a passenger declaration.
Anyone who has been in Melbourne since January 30 is asked to check the Victorian health website to see if they have attended an exposure site.
If they have, they should get tested immediately…
