Mariah Carey’s sued by sister for $1.64m for ‘emotional distress’: report
Mariah Carey is facing a new legal challenge.The star’s sister Alison has reportedly filed a court summons stating she’s seeking $1.64 million from her superstar sister, according to People magazine.
In the suit, Alison alleges that the We Belong Together singer, 50, included multiple stories in her recent memoir The Meaning of Mariah Carey that intentionally inflicted “emotional distress” on Alison.
