Qld police: Operation Sierra Carious closed

Gold Coast police say the streets will be cleaner and safer after search warrants led to the seizure of illicit drugs, $35,000 in cash and the subsequent arrest of five people.
The charges bring to a close Operation Sierra Carious, which had been aimed at “disrupting the distribution of drugs in the southeast region’.
Over eight months, 40 people were charged with 207 offences, including trafficking, supplying and possessing dangerous drugs, and weapons offences.
