CEO says vegan ‘cheese’ tastes just as good – The Australian Financial Review
ASX-listed Pure Foods Tasmania boss Michael Cooper says it’s hard to tell plant-based ‘cheese’ made by newly-acquired Lauds Plant Based Food isn’t dairy.
Mr Cooper said the plant-based cheese made by Lauds used mainly nuts and oats, and had a pleasant taste. Its very palatable. The cream cheese is very good, he said.
Pure Foods Tasmania listed on the ASX in April last year and its main business includes Tasmanian Pate and Woodbridge Smokehouse packaged salmon and trout.
