Accused murderer Daniel Sharpe says he was defending his father when he stabbed Andrew Drake 11 times in Surfside
A man accused of killing his neighbour after a friendly drink told police he was acting to protect his father when he stabbed the man 11 times, the NSW Supreme Court has heard.

Daniel Sharpe, 20, is on trial in Queanbeyan for murder after he stabbed Andrew Drake, 29, in a late-night scuffle in April 2019 at a house in Surfside, near Batemans Bay.
Mr Sharpe did not deny the stabbing in court today, but said he was trying to protect his father.
