Former Tropical Cyclone Eloise destroys buildings and crops across parts of south-eastern Africa

The death toll from former Tropical Cyclone Eloise has risen to at least 12, according to figures from authorities across south-eastern Africa, where heavy winds, rain and flooding have also destroyed buildings and crops.

Aerial footage showed swathes of land in eastern Mozambique submerged in floodwater, with residents and houses stranded in the devastating aftermath.
