Animal cruelty charges laid almost two years after mass cattle deaths on Yandeyarra Reserve

Animal welfare charges have been laid against a Pilbara Aboriginal Corporation over the deaths of more than 1,000 cattle on a pastoral lease in Western Australia’s north-west.

More than 1,000 cattle died on Yandeyarra Reserve in late January 2019, prompting an investigation by compliance officers from the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD).
