Two men and a woman charged over alleged million-dollar gold theft at Coolgardie’s Greenfields Mill

Three people, including a woman in a senior management position, have been charged in connection to an alleged million-dollar gold theft in Western Australia’s Goldfields.

Detectives from the Kalgoorlie-based Gold Stealing Detection Unit have charged a 73-year-old Geographe man and a 40-year-old man from East Fremantle with stealing as a servant.
Police allege the men stole large quantities of gold-bearing ore from the Greenfields Mill in Coolgardie.
FMR Investments owns the Greenfields Mill, which processes gold from the company’s Gordon Sirdar mine near Kalgoorlie, and from other mining companies and professional prospectors in the region.
